The cryptocurrency market saw mixed performance, with some coins gaining and others losing value. Bitcoin dropped 1.94% on international exchanges, trading at $64,452 (around Rs. 54 lakh), according to CoinMarketCap. In India, the price was slightly higher at $65,734 (roughly Rs. 55 lakh) on platforms like CoinSwitch and CoinDCX.
Ether (ETH) also saw a slight drop of 1.52%, trading at $2,630 (around Rs. 2.20 lakh) globally. In India, Ether was down 1.20%, priced at $2,661 (roughly Rs. 2.23 lakh).
According to CoinDCX, Bitcoin continues to show positive signs, with key indicators suggesting a bullish trend. Ether has also shown signs of recovery, moving above the 50-day EMA. Historically, the fourth quarter has been the strongest for crypto, and many expect this pattern to continue.
Other cryptocurrencies like Tether, Cardano, Tron, Avalanche, Chainlink, and Polkadot also posted losses, while Stellar, Cronos, Cosmos, Polygon, and Bitcoin SV saw price declines as well.
The overall market value of the crypto sector dropped by 1.70%, bringing the total valuation to $2.27 trillion (around Rs. 1,90,20,364 crore).
